WAND.SOLO. makes a contemporary artistic statement within the context of antique and vintage at Kunsthandel Pichler. One wall is given over to works by emerging young artists, embedded in the historic surroundings of art, jewellery, and design in the gallery.

WAND.SOLO.

The programme, consisting of successive exhibitions, begins in March 2023.
WAND.SOLO:1 presents an exceptional artist who turns her personal gaze on the everyday – things that can easily be overlooked in daily life. There is a wide range of transformations that emerge from different, often simple, elemental forms.

The "inconspicuous," the everyday, or the small things of daily life – this can concern places, processes, or landscapes that are dismissed as insignificant or uninteresting. Like a great-aunt's old necklace, a withered clover leaf at the edge of the forest, a dead beetle, or a piece of fabric. What makes an everyday object special? This is a question posed not only by Verena Barth of Kunsthandel Pichler with regard to her range of items, but one that is also reflected in the works of KATER D.
