The works in this pop-up exhibition explore the theme of the "moment" – that temporal unfolding in which we are embedded and which steadily pursues its course. No moment is like another. It is precisely this fleetingness that constantly surrounds us. Not the before, not the after – but the now.

In a small series of paintings, which can be distributed throughout the space or hung side by side, I explore the gradual appearance of a shadow on the floor – a projection of the outlines of a plant that I placed there myself. The works capture a juxtaposition full of tension and stillness: the speed and power of light and sun, the calm physicality of the plants, the constant projection surface of the floor. Growth. Energy. Standstill.
Each individual image resembles a film still. Assembled together, they create movement and thus make visible the unstoppable succession of moments. Another series exploring a similar theme depicts cloud formations – forms that change constantly yet unpredictably. The clouds stand for a gentle, dynamic, unstoppable transformation – against a background that leads into the indeterminate.
In the pop-up gallery in the former gymnasium, Anna Luise Schnur's recent paintings are on display. Her finely painted touch transforms the image into a poetic, fictional world; she casts her gaze on her surroundings with sensitivity – passing clouds, wooden floor textures, folded fabrics. Fleeting moments are captured on the panel painting: a seductive semblance, a shimmering between light and shadow.
